929 Trees Pruned in Central Jakarta

Central Jakarta City Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department have cut down all trees prone to fall that spread in Central Jakarta area.

We managed to cut down 929 trees throughout January-March

Central Jakarta City Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department Head, Themy Kenda Putra told, this activity is a program that held routinely by his side. Furthermore, his side also receive tree pruning if there are citizens who want to cut the tree near their home.

"We managed to cut down 929 trees throughout January-March," explained Putra, Sunday (4/5).

Hundreds of Trees Prone to Fall Cut Down

He continued, Cempaka Putih and Menteng Sub-District are the area with the most frequent pruning activity because there are many trees that have an age of 25 years in both locations.

"Most trees that have been cut down are located in Cempaka Putih and Menteng Sub District," he told.
